Where you will stay

Below are the four properties that Chef Giuseppe has available for his guests ad students. Where you will be staying depends on availability and chosen program.

Villa Contessa Marianna

Villa Contessa Marianna is part of a group of buildings and properties on the "Bonaparte knoll" in San Minato, an ancient property originally owned by Bonaparte family, a family branch of the famous Napoleon. In 1805 the country-house was given to the family of the present owners.  Recently the property has been completely restored and is now open to the public as an exclusive residence... perfect for those who desire a relaxing holiday in luxurious historic surroundings. Immersed in the wonderful Tuscan landscape, the country-house is at the footsteps of San Miniato, an historical village full of monuments and cultural activities, and notably famous for the production of white truffle. A large open kitchen looks on to the dining room, and the living areas are furnished with fine period furniture. On the first floor, there are six large bedrooms with twelve beds, completely furnished with period furniture. Rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with satellite TV, bathrooms with bath or shower. Some of them have Handicapped facilities. Villa Contessa Marianna has a wonderful garden with swimming pool. Ancient trees and green meadows combine to make an atmospheric play of light and shadow : the ideal place to relax and rest the mind and body.

Fattoria La Serra

Fattoria La Serra, set in the historic wine region of Carmignano, is a finely restored former farmhouse surrounded by an endless sea of olive groves, brilliant vineyards, and rolling hills reaching toward Florence in the distance.  Just a few miles outside of a medieval village, the centuries-old farm, is lovingly run by the owner Piera and it is a testament of her love and devotion to the property. The estate includes 5 double rooms, all of which include private en suite bathroom, air-conditioning, hair dryer, and lovely Tuscan-style furnishings. The owner has recently finished a wooden-beam covered patio where you can enjoy breakfast, dinner, or a glass of excellent Carmignano wine with a view of Florence as the background. The comfortable living rooms with large sofas and fireplace, the pantry kitchen with rustic fireplace and brick oven for pizza are complimented with a professional kitchen where you' ll  learn tricks of the trade from Chef Giuseppe, while enjoying authentic Tuscan meals. The estate will serve as your "home base" for exploring one of the most beautiful regions of Italy.

San Luca Palace

The original structure dates back to 1540 and has been fully refurbished featuring all modern conveniences: air conditioning, heating with independent control, LCD TV with satellite channels, cable radio, direct telephone, internet wi-fi connection, hair dryers, minibar etc. The hotel is located in the center of the historic city of Lucca, a medieval town of lovely towers, piazzas, and Renaissance cathedrals; a town full of treasures just waiting to be discovered on foot or by bicycle.  Staying in the city of Lucca will give you a look into day-to-day Tuscan life. The city  is centrally located  in Tuscany and can be your home base for  daily excursions to the region's most important  historical and cultural destinations .

Il Mulino

A restored 16th Century olive mill owned by the Mazzocchi family for generations, just out side of Montecatini Terme the world renown spa town. The location, set in the Tuscan country side, is ideal for a learning about farm products and extra virgin olive oils.  Il Molino is composed of one apartment and two double bedrooms with private bathroom, and a professional kitchen where the cooking lessons are scheduled from March through November.
