Gourmet Food Tours

Chef Giuseppe offers an in-depth one week gastronomic program for groups of 2 (minimum)
to 8 (maximum).

During this course, Chef Giuseppe will introduce you to the finest locally made products regulated
under the E.U. seal of quality (IGP, DOP, DOC, DOCG denomination). These products, mainstays of authentic Tuscan and Italian cuisine, will be overviewed, tasted and featured in hands-on cooking classes as well as food/wine pairings.The culinary activities are complimented with field trips to producers in Tuscany and Emilia; all carefully selected by Chef Giuseppe.

Tour Highlights:               
•  You'll visit the "truffle town" of San Minato and its surrounding hills.
•  Watch the production of Tuscan Pecorino cheese in a small family-run dairy.
•  Visit the top wineries in Montepulciano, Montalcino, and the Tuscan coast with wine tasting.
•  Visit a foremost producer of genuine aged balsamic vinegar.
•  Shop for local Tuscan delicacies in the markets of Florence and Bologna under
   Chef Giuseppe's guidance.
•  Visit a prosciutto and salami factory with tasting.

All the tours will be escorted either by car or Mercedes Minivan. Accommodation either in the 4 Star Superior Hotel San Luca Palace in Lucca or in two villas of the same calibre either in Prato or Pisa.
