Giuseppe Mazzocchi was our chef for the day. He and his assistants provided a wonderful day beginning with a market shopping tour for fresh vegetables, meat and pasta at the local shops in Montecatini. We then travelled to the Tuscan Cooking School - a wonderful restored olive mill with a professional kitchen and a 1000 year old stone bridge in the back yard. We had some demonstrations, dug in and did hands on prep for our menu items, paused briefly to consume freshly prepared stuffed squash blossoms with a little chilled Prosecco (fabulous!) and ultimately sat down to a marvellous meal. Much conversation about food, food preparation, local produce, Tuscany and Italy, and our plans for a future trip back.

This was one of the best parts of our two week vacation. Chef Giuseppe was great. He was very patient, very gracious, extremely knowledgeable and did an all-around great job. My wife and I were lucky enough to have the personal attention of the Chef all to ourselves. The food was outstanding. I do not know how it could have been any better. The Chef was also very helpful in making other recommendations for the rest of our vacation.

Had a great experience working with the chef Giuseppe Mazzocchi and preparing several dishes with him. We were able to get a feel for how the Italians cook with fresh ingredients and make wonderful recipes with the foods (seasonal) that are available to them. The chef was very knowledgeable and friendly. The food was superb!

Our 1-day cooking class was truly one to remember. Giuseppe is a fun and enthusiastic instructor and an amazingcook. When in Italy, be sure to escape from the touristy areas and experience the Tuscan countryside and food with Giuseppe and his cousin Alessandro.

Giuseppe was fabulous! We got lost in our rental car, and he came and got us. Shopping for the ingredients was fun and informative. The meal we cooked was mouth watering delicious! His assistants were so nice. Their house and "backyard" was breathtaking... truly Tuscan landscaping. Giuseppe even helped me book a massage. This was an amazing experience.

Having chosen this class over the Internet, I was concerned about whether I had made the right decision for my daughter and me. After going to the market with him, both of us knew that this was going to be a better experience than we could have imagined. Just being at the market and choosing fresh ingredients for our class was fun and informative, a nice introduction to what lay ahead. The restored farmhouse was wonderful and in such a beautiful setting. His greats assistant  were so friendly and helpful, as well. Chef Giuseppe not only understands what he is doing but has a natural talent for teaching. Both of us would recommend his class to anyone desiring a one-day experience and would enjoy returning, if possible.

The most wonderful experience I had in Italy so far . Your hospitality was most gracious. I loved the entire cooking experience and the food was delicious ! A day that we will never forget. Our apologies for being so late in the morning. Thank you so much  for such a special day.

Dear Giuseppe , we have had a wonderful time with you. You have been so good to us from the first moment, by helping us with shopping for clothes  because of my lost luggage, to the last morning with lots of advice and direction. This being my first visit to Italy, I felt so welcomed and so relaxed with you . Your place is very beautiful, we loved it here and had a great fun cooking and eating with you , we cannot wait to go home and make pasta with our daughters. If in U.S.A, please come and visit, we would love to have you stay with us.

The cooking class at the farmhouse was everything one could expect in a cooking class. It was an opportunity to step into another culture and be warmly accepted as if you were part of the family. Giuseppe and Alessandro's family  were generous in sharing their knowledge of cooking and in introducing the students to their friends, who hosted sumptuous dinners at their villas during the evenings. Food is a celebration of life and that spirit pervades the whole experience, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Thank you so much for making our honeymoon so special. We wanted to experience the beauty of the Tuscan life style from the breathtaking sites to the " buonissima" cuisine .You have exceeded our expectations by a million miles. To meet two people with so much warmth, life and character is an experience that is absolutely priceless.

Giuseppe is a great man, and the facility is superb. The recipes were interesting, sufficiently complex yet still easy to make for a neophyte cook.
The Class was very fun and amazingly organized - credit due to the chef/instructor and his helper(s) for their patience and great attitudes. Everyone extremely nice. Time to prepare food was just right. Meal, again, was fantastic. Would definitely schedule more cooking classes on future trips

Chef Giuseppe was so passionate and enthusiastic about what he did. He really made the class fun. We laughed a lot but learned a lot as well. The recipes were easy to follow; things I could easily do at home. It was a great bonding experience for my friends and I. I will continue to recommend the programs to my friends.
